Custom Wedding Guest Book
What a pleasure it was to be asked to do this custom piece for a friend for her summer wedding.
The first step was to draw out a template of the tree and leaves to be sure we had enough for the invited guests to sign. This one has 115 leaves.
Next was to find the right amount of wood for the background. This one started out with 4 but was too small for the leaves so we added another.
Next was to copy the template onto the wood, and carve the initials into the wood of the tree.
Then begin the painting.
The end result is stunning. This was not only fun to do but the Brides reaction...Priceless.
